Artist Statement:
This print is based on a photograph I took of the interior of Corpus Christi Church, designed by Rudolf Schwarz in 1930 and located in Aachen, Germany. I tried to capture the sharp distinctions in dark and light tone on the interior while retaining the richness of material textures and reflections. The stark contrasts and subtle nuances made this a challenging and rewarding piece to print.
